Do you make bespoke cakes?

Unfortunately due to COVID 19 impacting the way we are able to work in our small kitchen, we are unable to offer bespoke cakes until further notice.


Do you offer vegan and gluten free bakes?

We always have 1 gluten free option in stock at our cafe. On our website, you can order gluten free brownies from the postal section of our site. Upon request we can tweak certain cakes to be gluten free.

We occasionally offer vegan cakes in the cafe. We have a vegan cake option in our online store. Some other designs can be made vegan also.

Please note. we are very careful when we work but as our kitchen is small, all bakes could contain trace of allergens.


Can I collect items from your postal menu?

Yes. You can select collect in the shipping section of checkout.


Do you deliver nationwide?

The postal section of our website offers treats which can be posted nationwide.

Items from the cake section of our website are to collect or currently for SELondon delivery on a Saturday only.


How long will my cake last?

We have worked hard perfecting al of our recipes. Celebration cakes will keep for around a week. Once sliced, it’s best to keep in an airtight container in the fridge.

Items from our postal menu are selected partly for their excellent shelf life. We double wrap them when shipping to help preserve freshness. Keep this in an airtight container in the fridge and these will keep for around 2 weeks.


How often to you ship your postal treats?

We offer dispatch on a Wednesday. We use APC who are a next day courier so providing you are in to receive it, it should be with you on the Thursday. Very rarely there is a delay with this, but due to COVID 19 some delays are possible. They will email you notifications.


Can I add 2 cocktails to my postal box?

This currently isn’t an option but we are working on it! For now, please reply to your order confirmation asking for an additional cocktail and we will send you a payment link to add an extra cocktail.


How should I store my cake?

We recommend storing our cakes in the fridge in an airtight container where possible. If it is a celebration cake and you have not cut cut into it, the box we provide is fine.

Cake tastes best at room temperature so we recommend removing from the fridge a few hours before you’re planning to eat.


Can I add a card or a note to my order?

If you are ordering from our postal shop, yes. There is a dropdown menu on each item to select a celebration card. There are 3 designs to choose from and each also comes with a sparkler and confetti balloon. You will then get a pop up box for you to write your message in. We will write this by hand in your card for the recipient.

The above is not currently an option with our celebration cakes. If you would like to add a short message with a cake please reply to your confirmation email and we can arrange.


Is the East Dulwich cafe open? If so, when?

Yes. We are currently open for takeaway only with a one in at a time policy. Please wear a face mask when you come in. We have our usual offering of hot drinks and sweet treats along with cheese toasties, quiche and sourdough loaves.

We are currently open Wednesday - Saturday 9-3. Sunday 10-2.


Are your bake at home kits suitable for children?

Yes. Whilst they were not designed specifically for children - I create them with myself and my 2+1/2 year old in mind. She loves them and so do I so with adult supervision when necessary, I’d say these are suitable for all ages
